Holy Smokes...Norah is 5!!

First of all, everyone tells you how quickly kids grow up but you don't truly GET IT until it's your own baby standing in front of you turning five years old.

I really can't believe it.

Here she is the morning of her special day. Can you tell how ecstatic she is to finally be 5?

Jeremy took the day off- quite a treat these days! We celebrated that night with dinner chosen by her- chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes, hash browns, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and apple juice. That skinny mini ate 5 pieces of bacon! Smart girl.

A big girl bike!

A "Tall Doll"

Fake eyelashes...they lasted about 10 minutes (pretty impressive) and for some reason, she did not want me to take her picture!
We let her have a Gingerbread Man themed friend party this year. A few highlights...

Peppermint Glitter playdough!

Norah at 5:
  • Still major drama queen.
  • She is venturing into the land of "She-Ra"
  • Norah does not like to be referred to as anything related to babies. She is a big girl.
  • This girl is smart and intuitive. I can't wait to see what she does in life.
  • Passionate.
  • Feisty.
  • She can finally buckle herself into her carseat! Yay!
  • She is making her bed and dressing herself most mornings.

We love you Norah Christine!
