We planned a pit fire on Sunday at The Farm. That morning at church, Ivy invited her Sunday School teachers (our friends, Ronnie and Susan Jones) to come over to the Pit Fire. It was really sweet and they actually ended up coming! Susan brought bubbles and Ronnie always lets Ivy wear his hat (which apparently he never let his kids do growing up...haha). End of Summer days on the farm are the best.
Ivy also started preschool this month. To say she was and is excited is an understatement. When you have older siblings that you have watched go off and do things for years, it's a big deal when it's finally your turn. The pink sparkly school and imaginary friend Abby have been replaced with stories of a REAL school and yep...you guessed it...a REAL Abby is in her class.
